* there's a list of all 80s and 90s t.v. dramas that feature lesbian characters. all have just one character - apart from "bad girls", which has a list as long as your arm
* famous gay denials, including mel gibson's: "do i talk like them? do i move like them?"
* blistered beaver - you need to read the book
* the first advert featuring a "non-traditional" family was for ikea
* there are between 185,500,000 and 618,400,000 gay people in the world today (spoilt for choice!)
* the first recorded use of the word "lesbian" was made in ireland
* it's condoned in the bible (ruth and naomi were at it hammer and tongs)
* my favourite name for a young lesbian: dinky dyke
* tom cruise is not mentioned once, for obvious reasons
* details of a hilarious 1961 film called "boys beware", which warns children against predatory homosexuals
* how to clean your sex toys
that said, the book "SEEMS" to lean slightly more towards lesbianism rather than gay men. but that was only after a quick glance.
worth getting.
