    Beautiful Park
A visit to this famous urban landmark park was top on our itinerary during our brief trip to Vancouver. Lots of tourists and families visiting on the long holiday weekend when we came. We parked at the big lot next to the Bloedel Conservatory and walked towards the adjacent gardens. The well placed sculptures were quite impressive. The small Quarry Garden was colorful and lush. While the park’s high elevation meant nice panoramic view of the city, it also meant somewhat steep ascent and descent which could be difficult for mobility challenged visitors to navigate. I wish the park could become more disability friend. Better directional signage would help as well.

    Revisiting
After getting married in QE park 40 years ago. Return to this park and found everything are still beautiful and well maintained. Water fountains are dry without water tough. The thing I do not understand is why pay parking in a park?

Lovely gardens and view of the city
This is one of the many gardens you can visit in Vancouver BC. It's got lovely gardens and it offers a great view of the city. There were many people having their picnic when we got there. The place also seems to be a favorite spot for wedding pictorials. There's an ample parking space for a pay. We had lots of photos taken both outside and inside the Bloedel Conservatory, located in the park itself.

    Best views in Vancouver
This garden offers spectacular views of the mountains, extraordinary gardens and an enclosed dome-shaped greenhouse with exotic birds like macaws, cockatoos and parrots. Be sure to eat at the restaurant with panoramic vistas and very good food. Great for people of all ages.

    Beautiful Gardens
The Queen Elizabeth Gardens are a short Uber ride from downtown and well worth the trip. The gardens were colorful, well-maintained, and unique. It’s very hilly to walk around, but definitely manageable. Views of Vancouver on a clear day are spectacular. The gardens are free and the little conservatory was only $5.20 for seniors. It’s not much…but the rescue birds are cute.

    Take a break in nature
A beautiful area to experience nature in the middle of urban Vancouver. Its elevated location on the top of Little Mountain affords panoramic views over the suburbs and across to the mountains. Lawns and benches provide plenty of seating for a rest or a picnic. There are numerous points of interest within the park - Bloedel Conservatory, quarry garden, rose garden, Photo Session (a bronze figurative sculpture of a man photographing three people), clock, Love in the Rain love locks, duck pond, various sculptures and the Dancing Waters Fountain. Unfortunately there was no cafe, only Seasons in the Park - an upmarket restaurant who told us rather aloofly that they do not serve coffees. I'd suggest bringing your own refreshments. Washrooms were available in two locations. The gardens were easy to reach via the Canada Line train to King Edward Station. From there it was about a 10 minute walk (700m) to the Park.

beautiful gardens with winding trails through them. It had a miniature Butchart Gardens feel to it. well organised There are areas to sit and people-watch near the freeway. The fountain's spray will keep you cool during the summer. Additionally, it offers the finest perspective of Vancouver and the Lions of the North Shore ever.

Stunning park close to the centre of Vancouver. You can get the Skytrain part of the way but that will still entail a walk to the park itself. From the top of the park you can see views back cross Vancouver and the mountains all around.

We stopped at the restaurant at the top and had a few drinks as we visited in the middle of a heatwave. Really pleasant to sit with amazing views and an excellent supply of locally produced beers.

Queen Elizabeth Park has great overlooking city views and lovely gardens. The park was a bit crowded when we got there but there was still a lot of space to socially distance. It was a bit of an uphill hike from VanDusen Botanical Garden but worth it.

We took our 16 year who likes photography and had a nice time wandering around the gardens. Parking was affordable (under $5) and easy to access. The views of Vancouver are great and the gardens are varied. We were disappointed that the fountains were not running. Not sure if they are under constructions but they were fenced off.

We spent about an hour walking around. Given that it's free I would certainly recommend it if you are visiting the area. Not sure that I would go our of my way to go if I didn't have transport.

Maybe it was because this was a hot day; but to us it seemed the gardens were over-rated. Yes they looked nice, but it was mostly paths just walking through greenery. If you're spending most of your time downtown Vancouver, this is not really worth the commute, as it is out of the way

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the park - so much we brought our family back with us. The fountains area is lovely to sit in as it provides shade. Drinks are available in the aviary at the top. Our son and his partner went into the aviary and enjoyed it. The gardens are very interesting to walk around - we loved the pond skaters that were very active. The only problem we found was that it is only signposted for those in cars! We followed the signs for the fountains etc at the top of the hill (it was 35'!) and got there via a very long road to find that we could have come up a shorter way that wasn't signposted!

We only saw part of this huge park when we were in Vancouver.
Great city views, easy to get to via the sky train and a short walk.
Unfortunately the restaurant was full so we couldn't eat there.
Also visited Bloedel Conservatory in the park.
