Audience Member Doesn't even come close to the original. It missed the mark by a mile. Unless you're one of those "I don't like subtitled movies because I get can't read and watch it at the same time" people, just stick to the original film. If you have seen the original, don't waste your time on this one because you will most certainly be disappointed. On that note, don't just watch the original movie. Watch all three. I promise you won't be disappointed by any of them. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Awful. Just awful. The main problems are the last 1hr 26mins, the dialogue throughout and the acting. Otherwise it's ok. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Rotten. Watch the originals. Painful to watch Zlatko have to sign up for this shit. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member An English language remake almost the same as the Danish version, so in that respect it's not a bad film. Decent if you've not seen the Danish original, a lesser film if you have. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member As usual it's nothing remake and when compared to the original it feels far too inferior. However, on its own merits its a tense, edgy thriller with a solid central performance by Richard Coyle. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Let's take a great Danish small-time gangster movie and give it the 'Lock Stock' treatment shall we? How about let's not? No amount of fancy lighting and camerawork can make this film hide what it really is...pretty pointless. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Deborah Ross The Spectator It is well acted. It turns the same old, same old gangster thriller screws, but with a fine eye for tension and keeping the audience emotionally involved. Sep 1, 2018 Full Review Geoff Pevere Globe and Mail Just stick to the original: Fate is always more fetching than formula. Rated: 2/4 Nov 9, 2012 Full Review Linda Barnard Toronto Star The characters that populate Pusher are surprisingly naïve and hardly the brightest of bulbs. So much for the image of the wily, street-smart criminal. Rated: 2/4 Nov 8, 2012 Full Review Jason Best Movie Talk What was edgy and exciting in the mid-1990s now fails to deliver the same buzz. Rated: 2/5 Dec 16, 2020 Full Review Allen Almachar The MacGuffin There are far too many scenes of macho posturing, and not enough character development to make us feel for anyone's plight. Rated: C- Jul 29, 2020 Full Review Nicholas Bell IONCINEMA.com Drug dealing in the London streets never looked so fanciful and glam rock as it does here, and when it comes time for the violent stripe of degradation to rear its head, there's no bite, no tension, and no feeling.
