  ‘What genre would you say Molotov fall into?’ It really is a struggle to find the correct answer to this question. This is because, unable to fit into any of the typical style groups that we tend to categorize into, this band have succeeded in creating their own style, a fusion of several styles and the result is something special to say the least.

  Though they may not look like your typical rap or rock stars, four Latin Grammy Awards are evidence of the impact and quality of the music that this group produce. Hailing from Mexico, one can’t help but notice that their music and lyrics are politically inspired, stemming from times of struggle in their homeland.

  These messages do not distract from the skill of the musicianship that is showcased at a Molotov live show however, rather complementing the blend of heavy bass lines and melodic guitar riffs that characterize the Molotov style. As if seeing the music come to life on a stage wasn’t enough, being in the crowd at a Molotov concert is an experience in itself.

  Be prepared for plenty of head banging and jumping as the energy from on stage infiltrates the audience and encourages you to lose yourself in the music. If you wish to experience something that you’ve never experienced before, go to a Molotov gig.

• The rock band Molotov is one of Mexico's most universally recognised musical names. The group is fast approaching their twentieth anniversary and still command a huge following in the States as well as many countries across mainland Europe.

  They have a refreshing blend of English and Spanish tracks to allow them a more universal reach when it comes to audience and countries. The aggressive, often topical lyrics are also brilliant for the crowds to intently sing back in force as the band commands more and more volume. The instrumentals demonstrated tonight are towering walls of sounds and sound record perfect which is a difficult skill to attain. There is a celebration of rock and metal with covers by Aerosmith and Misfits performed which evoke even more roars of appreciation from the huge, very vocal crowd. They wrap up with 'Puto' and 'Goya' in quick succession and leave the audience cheering with approval as they take a final lap of the stage.

• the Molotov concert was very good as always, except that this occasion they didn't play all the classical songs. I missed some, of the album "donde jugaran las niñas" and at last, I felt that the band lost the soul and the motivation in this concert. kinda the age comes down to the guys plus the concert starts 910pm, 90 mins late.

  The only black point was the venue, Howard theater'security personnel abuse their power to be rude with the guests, for that reason If you look for I'm complaining with the board of directors of the Howard university plus bad review in the web, etc.

  I hope next year Molotov will be in a different place or I'll skip my presence there.

• Empezó 30 minutos tarde....

  Muy buena ecualización, buen sonido, buen show de luces

  Molotov estuvo excelente, tocaron casi todo lo que yo esperaba, la interacción con el público excelente.

  Un concierto que superó mis expectativas.

• Most amazing & interactive concert I have seen from them..... I saw them before years ago. This time, they involved the crowd more and it really made me have a F....ing Kick A.... Time- Would do it again in a heartbeat!
