This product cannot be used on natural products. Part of the reason of the purchase was to protect the wool rug on the steps; however, the warnings indicated not to, wish I knew this before I purchased

We are a chemical blending company. When the production people come to the front office, they track the dirt in with them. No matter what we tell them to do, they don't wipe their shoes well. So our carpet gets dirty very quickly. And we have to shampoo the carpet frequently. Commercial floor mats are good but they get saturated with dirt quickly and require expensive professional cleaning. These carpet protectors are disposable. After a few weeks, we pull them off the carpet and replace with new layer. No shampooing, no commercial cleaning of the mats. We also bought the applicator, but did not find it to be helpful. In fact, it was more of a hassle. It was easier to simply apply one end of the film on the floor and roll the tape on the floor. They come in different widths. Order the width that fits your floor. It is not easy to cut the film if you order too wide, besides wasting money.
