Pros
- Most people you work will have high morality as to what is right and what is wrong, but sadly the upper management does not, or no long has. - People you work with (coworker, most managers, and customers) are respectful when you respect your work and customer, however the upper manage does not deserve respect. - Plan to advance yourself can be carried out if you aim at it and try to make it. You won't get babysit to get skill advancement, but if you want it, you can get it. - Conversation is still present, you can still express your anger, you won't lose your job for expressing your opinions. Your advancement is based on skill and job outcome but not relationship with management. - Little politics. We all strive to make things work. No on (at least not in our group) will try to hurt others to advance.
Cons
- Changes were made suddenly without any communications, Doubts and questions not answered. It is what it is is what you get. - Even when employees uproar is high such that communication is present, comments were listened, but not responded, not reacted to. - Cheaping out on everything we can now. We used to pride ourselves in quality of work we do. Now we are a joke. I can't even sincerely recommend ourselves to customers. - Minimal respect to long term Waters employees. Loyalties are not rewarded, like your home/car insurance.

Pros
Great people in teams who pull together. Great science and drive to develop exciting products
Cons
Pay is not good. Disconnect between Execs and those below is tangible right now. Not a pleasant environment and this is very sad given the great potential this company has.

Pros
The present circumstance appears to be grim, and the work environment is incredibly unsatisfying, making it one of the most undesirable workplaces in the industry. The only positive aspect is that it has some truly dedicated individuals who care about the quality of their work.
Cons
The current work culture is extremely toxic and creates an environment that is both stressful and uncomfortable for employees. It's a shame that instead of focusing on improving employee morale, HR is pressuring employees to leave positive reviews and even writing biased reviews themselves. This needs to change for the well-being of the employees and the success of the company.
31Waters Response4wThank you for bringing this to our attention. We strive to ensure that employees feel supported in their environment. We take these matters seriously. If you feel you have been mistreated, we highly encourage you to discuss any issues openly with your HR business partner.

Pros
I am lucky I have a great manager - otherwise I would probably leave
Cons
- new GCC IT Support (cost 16 Million to build) is unable to support critical issues in a timely manner due to timezone. their support is not 24hours - CEO not valuing employees - how about listening to the employees that are in the trenches!!! - Can not work full time remote

Pros
People I work with are amazing, driven and supporting. Our technology is innovative and has great brand recognition. Field Service, Sales and Support teams are second to none and most sought after by our competitors.
Cons
CEO and Executive Committee have handled challenging financial situation and current market situation using short term solutions. Laying off field service and sales teams will negatively impact customer loyalty and negatively impact our brand.

Pros
I don't have anything positive to share at the moment. I wish that weren't the case.
Cons
The work environment is severely toxic and has caused burnout among diligent colleagues. It's no secret that upper management's behavior is hypocritical, and their unrealistic expectations, as well as their encouragement of sycophantic behavior, are detrimental to the company's success. It's high time that the company acknowledges this issue and takes concrete steps to address it. As things stand, the company's structure virtually forces individuals to leave on their own. If you're considering joining the company, it's important to understand that you'll likely be indirectly pushed to leave after a couple of years unless you're willing to indulge in the same hypocrisy that's been damaging the company all along.

Pros
The individual teams and people you work with are some of the best you'll ever encounter.
Cons
The culture of the organization has shifted dramatically even in the past couple of years. The CEO does not put people first and whatever strategic vision is being implemented doesn't seem to be making the cut. Disingenuous, dishonest, frenetic leadership style. Not only is morale at an all time low, the company's performance and employee engagement have been abysmal.
27Waters Response2moThank you for this feedback. Hearing about the positives and areas for improvement is crucial for our growth. We always strive to ensure that our leadership is transparent and that employees feel supported in their environment. We take these matters seriously and encourage you to speak openly about your concerns with your manager or HR partners to work on a positive, and supportive solution. Thanks again for your review.

Pros
High operating margins means the company will continue to exist. They pay you in the currency of the country you live in, for example I live in the US and they paid me in US dollars
Cons
Many antiquated systems and business processes, and the pace of Change is so extraordinarily slow that it is hard to see how this company will ever catch up to the modern world. The CEO has surrounded himself with yes men, will not gather any information from the ground level of the organization because he thinks he knows everything, claims to be data driven but ignores data that doesn’t already agree with his initial bias, and it seems that he only thinks of the employees as numbers in a dataset. The company used to be completely against remote work, added a program for remote work a few years prior to the pandemic, then for some reason removed that program during the pandemic, now everyone is required to be in the office 2-3 days a week regardless of the job they do and who they collaborate with. This was after management promised that the company would remain flexible after the pandemic. Pay raises are a joke, management acknowledges that inflation is a problem, then after a record year they still give a 3% cost of living increase. Many groups have no real career advancement possibilities. Most new leadership roles are filled by external employees, meaning you need to leave to get the experience required to advance in this company. Training for career advancement is lackluster. Also, somehow the management team is trying to convince the team that by increasing hiring in India will help career advancement elsewhere.
