It doesn’t have an actual trail to walk. Is really pretty but won’t recommend for hiking.

Very overgrown, but the parts with a paved path are very pretty - I would just skip the parts without a path

A very easy and relaxing hike around the lake and park. We really enjoyed it.

Conditions: Great!

It has a beautiful scenery but there is no actual trail. Won’t be coming back for walks.

Walked across grass and on roads as well as on the trail. So many birds! Especially at south end by the dam. In lake saw Northern Shovelers and Cinnamon Teal. On the grass there were Black Ibis mixed in with the mudhens.

Paid $10, trail not well maintained, but a good walk nonetheless.

Trail is overgrown hard and confusing to navigate through. Some spots are closed off and a lot of areas seem to lead no where.

Lots of trash in this trail and a lot of social trails that lead to dead ends. Bush sunflowers were gorgeous and lots of wetland birds (herons, egrets, etc.) This park was a one and one for me.

It was nice, I will do it again. I won’t necessarily stick to the map next time, there’s tons of little trails coming off of it. I am more of a “choose your own adventure” type girl in the situation. I have some foot problems (plantar fasciitis) so very soft dirt path was an issue for my feet I wasn’t able to go for as long as I would have liked. Overall nice scenery, especially if you make the lake part of your hike. There’s tons of water fowl: pelicans, cranes, ducks, etc. Good place to have a post hike snack.

No clear markings of a trail, it’s basically walking on a dirt path and paved parking lots around the water. Not really too scenic and very little shade. I was a bit disappointed.

Conditions: Fee, No shade

Flat, mostly walking around lake and campground.

Very large park with a beautiful lake. People go fishing and camping and it has several hiking trails

Conditions: Muddy

A great walk in a scenic area. Parts are very overgrown so wear pants. Trail is unclear about halfway through, so we just hiked through the brush and grass to make our own loop. Only complaint is shooting range next door kind of makes you feel like you're hiking in a war zone!

Conditions: Over grown

Good views of the park and mountains. Overgrown in many areas.

Good. No birds today though. Hardly.

Pretty good walk with Toddler, lake, rivers, safe, but really windy & a little smelly. nice views of the mountains and lots of space but a lot of trash all over and on the edges of the lake

This is a pretty easy area it’s based out of the regional Park I staged over at the equestrian center that was nearby but you can stage at the park itself most the horse trails are aligning the perimeter of the park there are a couple that are on the south end of the park that go farther away from the lake and the community parking and community area overall it was pretty good pretty easy nice weather. My map is a little off because I didn’t think about starting it until I got about halfway through but overall it’s pretty easy all the trails are marked with safe paths and have yellow trail head markers you pretty much can’t get lost it’s straightforward really nice
