It was nice, I will do it again. I won’t necessarily stick to the map next time, there’s tons of little trails coming off of it. I am more of a “choose your own adventure” type girl in the situation. I have some foot problems (plantar fasciitis) so very soft dirt path was an issue for my feet I wasn’t able to go for as long as I would have liked. Overall nice scenery, especially if you make the lake part of your hike. There’s tons of water fowl: pelicans, cranes, ducks, etc. Good place to have a post hike snack.
A great walk in a scenic area. Parts are very overgrown so wear pants. Trail is unclear about halfway through, so we just hiked through the brush and grass to make our own loop. Only complaint is shooting range next door kind of makes you feel like you're hiking in a war zone!
This is a pretty easy area it’s based out of the regional Park I staged over at the equestrian center that was nearby but you can stage at the park itself most the horse trails are aligning the perimeter of the park there are a couple that are on the south end of the park that go farther away from the lake and the community parking and community area overall it was pretty good pretty easy nice weather. My map is a little off because I didn’t think about starting it until I got about halfway through but overall it’s pretty easy all the trails are marked with safe paths and have yellow trail head markers you pretty much can’t get lost it’s straightforward really nice
