    There is no substitute!
What can I say, this museum is known to every car nut and racing fan. About two hours will do here for most sane people. What is interesting here also are the cars they left out: the cayenne, the macan, the panamera. In other words, the cayenne made a lot of money for the company, but this is not what everyone wants to see and hear about. For myself, I was delighted with the exhibits pertaining to the 356 and 911. I Also understand the reason for only one measly Taycan--- new product and no vroom vroom (electric car). I also appreciated the helpful staff standing around to answer questions. What a company! Enjoy.

    Short but nice
Porsche museum is for pace lovers and of course the auto fans. If you are staying in stuttgart for more than 2 days, definitely worth spending hours there. You can sit in new 911 and taycan, play the simulator and more

    Fun interactive museum
Great museum with interactive elements for the whole family. It is a self-paced tour of Porsche from the beginning to today. You can sit in a few current model cars, drive a Porsche in a virtual driving game and there are other hands-on elements relating to the technology behind Porsche. It took us about two hours to do the museum. A good but if time was spent waiting in line for the virtual driving experience. There’s a cafe and parking is easy in the garage below the museum.

Don't miss this if in the Stuittgart area
Truly exceeded my expectations. I'm not much of a sports car buff, but this museum truly wow-ed me. The museum winds your way through the history of Porsches, even showing one of their tractors. The display out front is hard to miss, showing three Porsches appearing to shoot up into the sky. My only recommendation would be to expand their shp at the end of the tour. Don't miss this one.

    Fabulous .
Being current Porsche 911 owners, it was a no-brainer to come here. It’s an excellent museum, with plenty of displays and interactive exhibits, including a very clever virtual reality game, where you attempted to hand- build one of the early Porsche roadsters. And the first Porsches had an electric motor! We stayed nearly 4 hours

    Fantastic Visit
The museum is so easy to find, the S-Bahn station is right next to the museum and is only a short ride from the main station. When I arrived to buy a ticket the staff were very polite and friendly. There are plenty of cars on display and the audio guide explained them in more detail if you wanted. You can spend as much time in the museum as you like, I was in the museum for approx 1.5 hours. Definitely recommend to anybody who is in stuttgart to visit.

Stunning building spacious, car fans dream!
Me and my son came here as part of a visit to the AMG factory, staying a train ride away. Very easy to get to by train, no hassle getting a ticket on the day. Stunning building which was spacious and flowed through the years of Porsche, didn't feel crowded at all. Porsche factory right next door, which you walk past and see some built Porsches to get to a local McD! worth a visit if you are in Stuttgart.

Do not expect to be here all day. It’s rather small but I did like it. If you pay for a guided tour AND see the museum, it’s sort of redundant. They have done a very good shop for English speakers. If it’s in German it’s also in English. I’m not sure the need for the guided audio. But I would say if you want to pay extra do it for the factory tour. Once you get there it’s too late. Book in advance, we didn’t know so we missed out. They have a cafe that I thought was really good, German food of course, think IKEA. There is also a nice restaurant but we didn’t go so can’t say but I’m sure it’s good. Overall I have a new appreciation for Porsche, cool to say I’ve been there now. Parking is super easy, they have elevators and an expensive gift shop. One travel tumblr was 55, it was nice though. Go and have fun!!

Rarely have they made me feel so bad. I went from Alicante to Stuttgart with great enthusiasm to see the museum and factory of my favorite brand (PORSCHE), having made a reservation several months before. Well, they haven't let me enter to visit the factory, because I don't know how to speak English. Simply discriminatory!!

First things first; I love Porsche. That is basically the reason I wanted to go to this museum. As far as cars go there are plenty of vehicles scattered around the museum. However, the museum lacks a clear story and vision. It is a lackluster patch-work of technical information, vehicles and some VR-stations thrown in. I enjoyed the visit but you are left wanting more. If you are into Porsches, I can clearly recommend this museum but be aware that it clearly is far inferior to the Mercedes-Benz Museum due to the overall lack of story-line.

We arrived early to make the most of the museum. What an amazing way to spend the morning! So amazing to see so many formative Porsche cars and to explore the history of the company. Will definitely be visiting again

As a Porsche enthusiast I found this museum to be very dull. Sure, there is a great selection of cars on display, but no imagination has been applied. Mostly it is just a lineup of cars.
What I was really hoping to see was much more about the engineering and design that makes up the history of this great brand. I really love Porsche cars, and I own one. I would love to have seen much more on engineering in particular.
There could also have been more about the history of Porsche, both the positives and negatives. The company has obviously been very successful, so surely there could have been more said about some of their missteps as well as their successes. e.g. the difficulties they were having with the air-cooled flat six in meeting modern noise and emissions requirements. Of course they eventually rose to the occasion with the excellent water cooled engine.
There could have been more said about the PDK gearbox, including an explanation about how it works for example. This was an outstanding invention.
Little attention is given to the Boxster/Cayman series of cars.
There is not much said about the 924 and 928 cars either. Whilst they had reasonable reviews at the time I still don't know why they were ultimately not very successful.
Overall this is a missed opportunity for Porsche, and I do not recommend visiting it.
