Explore a day full of prehistoric and dinosaur themed activities inside of Science City! Learn about volcanos, see real fossils up close and personal, and meet real paleontologists! Plus, be on the lookout for photo-ops with our very own velociraptor throughout the day!

Dino Lab Activities

Tour the Dino Lab – Get a behind the scenes look at the space where real fossils are prepared every single day!

Meet A Paleontologist – Meet the volunteers that help us keep Dino Lab working!

Identify and Examine Real Fossils and Minerals – See real fossils in the lab, including some found right here in Jackson County, and learn how paleontologists prepare fossils for scientific study.

Dig for Dinosaur Bones – See what you can uncover in Science City’s dinosaur dig site.
