How would you rank the 3d in those movies?

mind you it's the shipping cost that kill the deal. the ad for both movies is listed at R49$ which is pretty darn cheap.

Unless you were ordering it with priority shipping or DHL express... that value is really high as hell.

Some point, a forum member needs to find a business rep making a trip to Brazil and have them pick up a case of a bunch of these to bring back

A pile of Planes 2, some Beowulf 3d, Finest Hours, Bigfoot Junior and I'm sure there are some others. A suitcase for $25-30 luggage fee is a heck of lot cheaper than a box through any shipping service.

Honestly $53 for Planes 2 is technically very good value these days so it really depends how much you want it. I understand if you dont want to pay that but you should share the link or seller because I guarantee someone else here will. I doubt you will find it much cheaper than that even with doing the time consuming trying to track down a Brazilian seller option. On eBay and Amazon if the movie ever does pop up its $80+

Any seller with some common sense is going to ask themselves why someone is trying to import something off the books from Brazil and the answer is obviously a collector and its a rare item, so theyre going to charge you collector prices if theyve got any seller instincts at all. It is what it is. Getting mildly scalped by a seller in Brazil still ends up being a lot cheaper than a seller on eBay.

From what I know, Planes 2 and Beowulf are both out of print anyway so it wouldnt be a very lucrative trip

I thought some of the Amazon Brazil links still had 1 or the other for sale. Certainly hit up mercadolibre sellers

The only copies I see on Amazon Brazil for those are used sadly. Were really getting to the point where certain movies are going to be almost impossible to find and $53 for planes 2 will sound like a bargain compared to a year from now. I think it only just hit me how bad its getting when I found out Disneys Cars 1 3D is now hard to find everywhere and going for $80+ when it is a major animation film with a release in many different territories region free. Thats why my logic for some of these films is buy first think later if youve got the funds to do so. You can always sell on a movie you dont like, and probably get all or more of your money back, but opportunities to buy might get rarer and rarer.

Though not all are necessarily exclusive, there are some advantages to the 3D Brazilian releases of:

Planes Fire and Rescue
Beowulf
Gnome Alone
Ratchet and Clank
Illusionauts
Bigfoot Jr
The Finest Hours
Legends of Oz
Asterix and Obelix God Save Britannia
Free Birds
Snow Queen 1 & 2
Outback
Dino Time

Many of their releases are significantly cheaper than other regions. Good proportion are region free. But a couple titles have lesser quality audio than other releases.

The fist "Planes" animated movie blu-ray is on the left and the second movie blu-ray is the one on the right. Both were release on single and double disc.
Every each of these are hard to find, specially "Planes: Fire and Rescue" 3D edition (single or 2-disc).

Honestly I'm surprised you haven't made a habit of reselling used copies of Planes 2 3D on your ebay page bolt, I'm sure you'd make a pretty penny doing so!

When I was hunting down my own copy I had to contact a seller on Amazon Brazil, ask them to do business with me (can't order on Amazon BR directly from US) and then they cranked the prices for the shipping up when they realised I was a collector. Got it for around $50 or $60 I think so better price than when it appears on eBay US, and it's a good movie with good 3D so I was happy. But unless something has changed, the price to buy a used copy within Brazil or Mexico/LatAm is pretty cheap.
