Google Takes Big Step Forward With Pixel 6 Pro | Google's Pixel 6 Pro comes with an upgraded camera visor that holds three cameras in place as well as Gorilla Glass Victus covering the front and back... | By cheddar news | Facebook | This is the Pixel 6 Pro. It's Google's brand new flagship for 2021. and this phone is exciting. Hi, I'm Ken. Full disclosure, Google did send me this phone to lend and review but they don't have a say in what I say and all opinions are my very own. So with that out of the way, let's get started. It has an all glass and metal finish, Gorilla Glass Victus which offers two times a scratch resistance and feels premium. In front, we have a 6. 7 inch squad HD display. It's bright, It's vibrant and has a 120 hertz refresh rate for crazy smooth scrolling and underneath the display, we have a fingerprint scanner. No face ID or facial recognition here but in the age of masks, the fingerprint scanner is kind of useful. Now, the Pixel 6 Pro ships with Google's first homemade processor called Tensor. They say it's faster, it's smarter, more secure, and efficient and when using this phone, you can feel all of the above. The phone zips through Android 12 and Google Assistant never felt more responsive. When I speak to text, it feels instant and more precise. When I ask a questions, it's faster and smarter and when it comes to anticipating my next move, the AI feels a bit more competent and the battery life on the Pixel 6 Pro will last you pretty much all day but where this chip really shines through machine learning and AI. It's very prominent when it comes to the camera experience. So, let's go there. Now, everyone is talking about the camera bar on the back of the phone. It's big, it's bold, get used to it. The camera bar or camera visor houses three cameras, a standard, a wide, and a four times telephoto and they are amazing. Check out these photos I took at a Dia de los Muertos event just incredible and the AI processing is fantastic too. Alright, now it's time to go back to that AI camera experience I was talking about. Google introduced a bunch of new features that take advantage of machine learning but probably the most popular and exciting feature is the magic eraser. It simply deletes any subjects you do not want in your photo with a touch or circle your finger. It's literally magic. See this performer? And those behind her? Poof, gone. See this rooftop crowded with people? Poof, gone. See the stereo blocking my skyline photo? Yeah, that's gone too. Now, when it comes to video, the Pixel devices have never been very good but this Pixel is far better than the Pixel 5. So Google is making progress. The last most exciting thing about the phone is the price. The Google Pixel 6 Pro cost $899 US. Google is really doing special here by offering so many features at such a competitive price. I'm excited about the premium design. I'm excited about the new processor and if Google is trying here with this phone, I'm really excited about what's to come.
