desires most this Compass becomes Central to the film’s sprawling and multi-layered plot one of the core story lines follows Captain Jack SP ‘s desperate attempt to escape a blood debt to the Fearsome Davey Jones Bill Nai the Monstrous captain of the ghostly Flying Dutchman Jones with his tentacle faed Visage and his crew of sea creature-like Sailors represents one of the most visually striking elements of the film the special effects work particularly on Jones and his crew is groundbreaking and still holds up remarkably well the character of Davey Jones with his tragic backstory and
