Ava S Though short, the environment of the movie with the added lingering sense of danger and silent hope makes this an entertaining story. Holland, Bernthal, Weber, and Armitage are all fantastic. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/26/22 Full Review jorge v Very slow movie with a very vague ending Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review jelisije j Very good performances from everybody and a solid script. This movie really makes you look at faith at what god wants and what you want from god. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Though critics argue that it's fairly pointless, I think they missed the point. All this violence over a rock? It features some stellar acting work, not to mention beautiful cinematography and sound design. It drags a little bit, but tells the story it sets out to. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review donald d this is hard to rate, it is good to see it twice to understand it and appreciate it for what it is. Katie Walsh Los Angeles Times For all its bloody and violent genre trappings, "Pilgrimage" is a gorgeously shot film that carefully renders the details of this fascinating historical period. Aug 11, 2017 Full Review Glenn Kenny RogerEbert.com It's interesting as far as it goes, but you wish it would have gone farther. Rated: 2.5/4 Aug 11, 2017 Full Review Donald Clarke Irish Times What really makes Pilgrimage buzz ... is an impressively scuzzy ambience powered by repeated outbreaks of raw violence. Aug 11, 2017 Full Review Keith Garlington Keith & the Movies Made with a small budget and shot in thirty days, “Pilgrimage” sleekly maneuvers through its limitations instead of succumbing to them. Rated: 4.5/5 Aug 24, 2022 Full Review Kip Mooney Fresh Fiction Severely dull in its first half and breathless in its second. Rated: C+ Aug 10, 2021 Full Review Emilie Black Cinema Crazed It's a beautiful film with mystery and suspense, supported by a strong cast and great attention to details.
