I have all of the Morales mixes that John did of some of these songs, but I think what is on this comp are different mixes to what was on those vinyl & cd releases previously, which means we have yet more variations of these mixes, which ain't a bad thing.
In addition to that, we get some new songs recently mixed by John, which have not been on previous compilations.
Great sounding compilation of course. (But obviously would have sounded better with only one track per side)- Edited one year agoWonderful album, and the mastering is phenomenal on CD. We need this soul in the strange times we live in.
Well done John Morales. 
If you want to enjoy the full experience, don't buy the incomplete 3x12'' vinyl,
go for the double cd version. The sound and mastering are fabulous in both, but
the differences are obvious :
12 selected mixes versus 18 of the second.
Yes, some of the mixes appears on others compilations of John, but Morales updated the tracks with new bits and edits.
''Is there a place for me'' which seems to be shorter on cd, it's not.
The remixes are exactly the same in both.
Enjoy this labour of love done with love and respect by John Morales for the great and missed Teddy.
