Philip Reeves, born July 14, 1946 in New York City, New York, is an American actor who plays the role of General Cavanaugh on the HBO original series True Blood. Playing the role of a General working for the United States Government at the Pentagon, Philip works with Roman Zimojic and the Vampire Authority to keep the peace between humans and vampires, and is a guest starring actor who appears only on the episode "Sunset" in the series' fifth season.
