Phil Collins besuchte zwei Konzerte an einem einzigen Tag mit der Concorde

Back in the ’80s, Concorde enabled Phil Collins, the famous British singer, to pull off a stunt that left everyone amazed.

The incident takes us back to the time when big hair and neon colors ruled.

Collins managed to play two concerts on two different continents, all in one day!

This extraordinary event actually happened at a seismic time in the world of music – during Live Aid.

So how did he do it? Well, it’s all thanks to Concorde and its unbeatable speed.

It all started at Wembley Stadium in London, where Phil kicked off his day with some soulful tunes.

From there, he hopped onto a helicopter, piloted by none other than UK TV personality Noel Edmonds.

Their next stop was the London Heathrow Airport.

But Phil wasn’t catching just any flight.

Oh no, he was boarding the legendary Concorde.

Now, if you haven’t heard of Concorde, let me fill you in.

This bad boy was like the Ferrari SF90 XX of airplanes.

It could zip across the Atlantic Ocean faster than your everyday nap.

In fact, it could make the journey from London to New York City in a mere 2 hours and 52 minutes.

So there, Concorde was cruising at Mach 2 (that’s twice the speed of sound, for you non-aviation folks) towards the Big Apple (New York).

Aber halt, es gibt noch mehr!

After landing in New York, he didn’t waste a second. Another helicopter whisked him away to Philadelphia for round two of his musical concert.

And what a show it was!

Phil rocked the stage, belting out hit after hit, leaving the crowd begging for more.

But the real cherry on top? He even jammed with legends like Eric Clapton and the surviving members of Led Zeppelin.

But let’s not forget the real hero here – Concorde.

Sometimes it feels unbelievable that this legendary aircraft was crafted in the 1960s.

Thanks to the Concorde, Phil Collins made history with two concerts on two continents in a single day. A perfect day for rock ‘n’ roll!
