Sally Field has accomplished some amazing things throughout her legendary career. After becoming a household name for TV roles in Gidget and The Flying Nun, she went on to win two Academy Awards, three Emmys, and two Golden Globes. Known for starring in iconic films like Smokey and the Bandit, Forrest Gump, and Mrs. Doubtfire, she has plenty to be proud of. But of all of her accomplishments, it's her three sons that stand out as the most important.
"The three things I'm most proud of in my life are my sons," Field told Closer Weekly. "They are kind, loving, productive people. Each with their own list of talents and accomplishments."
Here's a closer look at the beloved actress's three sons — Peter, Elijah, and Samuel.
Peter Craig
Peter is the oldest child from Field's marriage to Steve Craig. He grew up splitting time between Oregon and Los Angeles and attended the prestigious Iowa Writers' Workshop at the University of Iowa, ultimately becoming a screenwriter. Some of his most well-known films include The Town, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2, Bad Boys for Life, Top Gun: Maverick, and the upcoming film The Batman. As for his personal life, Peter is the proud father of three children — Isabel, Sophie, and Ogden.
Eli Craig

If there's one son who's the spitting image of his mom, it's Eli. The second son to come from Field's marriage to Steve Craig, Eli also pursued a career in Hollywood. He wrote and directed the horror comedy Tucker and Dale vs Evil as well as the Netflix film Little Evil starring Evangeline Lilly and Adam Scott. While it seems like horror movies are kind of his thing, he also directed an episode of his mom's TV series Brothers & Sisters as well as Zombieland and The Tao of Pong and has worked as a producer on Art Thief Musical! and Fast Money. According to his IMDB, some of his acting credits include small roles in Space Cowboys, the short film Racer Number 9, The Rage: Carrie 2, and Deal of a Lifetime. According to Deadline, he's currently working on a horror rom-com with Netflix, The Hills Have Eyes For You.
Eli has been married to actress Sasha Williams since 2004 and they share two children together, Noah and Colin.
Sam Greisman

Sam is the youngest child from Field's second marriage to Alan Greisman. Growing up in California it's only natural that he would also dabble in the world of entertainment and he has a few credits in short films as an actor/writer/producer/director. His mom was incredibly supportive when he came out and never ceases to sing his praises when asked about him in interviews.
"It's important to have a parent speak about raising a magnificent, proud, intelligent, funny, lovable, sexy gay son," Field told OWN in 2012. "There are so many parents who are frightened of that and who don't embrace their children as they struggle to ... embrace who they are, what nature intended them to be."
