The show is nothing like the penny dreadful series that takes place mostly in Europe. That said, there's a mystery that gets progressively revealed along a creative story line and characters that you want to watch as they evolve. It needed too soon.

Loved the acting. The story was pretty good. But the Latino torture was too much for me. How about we let Latinos write Latino stories? Because this was too much. Idk how I made it to the end.

I think this season was fantastic! It incorporates a time piece so well align with the never end wing social dilemmas tied into the Chicano history that is enriched in fantastic mythical religious lore. Interesting how Nazis were ever in search of the paranormal yet wanted to destroy a culture that could've shared with them the keys to unlocking that which the Nazis sought.
