Face 2 Face is a duet of two versatile and creative accordion players, Paweł Janas and Bartosz Kołsut. Thanks to their exceptional stage charisma and boundless passion, they cross the boundaries of different genres and styles, creating crossover music. Their talent and skills are valued at world festivals and contests. The two musicians have won 60 awards in various countries, such as Poland, Italy, Spain, Germany, Great Britain and France, and they have performed at numerous festivals in many European countries, the USA, Canada and China. In addition to that, they have taken part in many grant programmes, like Dongsan Research Foundation & Pro Polonia Society, Societe Generale and Młoda Polska, a grant awarded by the Ministry of Culture and Cultural Heritage.
Bartosz Kołsut’s style abounds in deep sensitivity and emotional involvement in his interpretation of every music piece. He was awarded the title “Young Musicians of The Year” in Warsaw and he was a finalist of the Eurovision Young Musicians contest in Cologne as well as IBLA GRAND PRIZE 2015 in Italy. He has performed twice at Carnegie Hall in New York. Bartosz mastered his skills at the Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, Poland; Hochschule fur Musik in Detmold, Germany and Folkwang Universität der Künste in Essen, Germany.

Paweł Janas is a highly versatile musician and composer, who easily swings classical, contemporary, electronic and improvised music. He won the title “the World Champion of playing the digital accordion” in Italy, where he performed at Parco della Musica in Rome. Also, he is the first accordion player in history to perform as a soloist accompanied by the Warsaw National Philharmonic Orchestra. He studied at the Chopin University of Music in Warsaw and Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität der Stadt in Vienna.
