Selena Gomez and Paul Rudd bundled up in chilly Manhattan on Thursday as they made their way to the set of Only Murders in the Building.

Gomez, 30 – who recently held hands with Drew Taggart from The Chainsmokers – kept warm in black while Rudd, 53, donned a beige overcoat.

The Ant-Man star is reprising his role as Broadway actor Ben Glenroy for season three of the Hulu hit after he made a cameo appearance in the season two finale.

Selena has been stoking excitement for season three of the critically-acclaimed who-done-it, posting a cryptic Instagram picture earlier this week.

She also shared a black-and-white photo earlier this month that showed her sitting on a couch with her illustrious co-stars Martin Short and Steve Martin.

Rudd was also featured in the picture, and so was legendary actress Meryl Streep.

Only Murders in the Building has attracted a slew of major guest stars, bringing in A-listers like Sting, Amy Schumer, Tina Fey, Cara Delevingne and Shirley MacLaine.

Steve martin has also been teasing the third season social media, tweeting the same black-and-white image with the caption: 'The filming of season 3 of Only Murders in the Building has begun! A cast to dream of.'

Gomez went on to share a funny Instagram video where the talented ensemble pretended to treat the iconic three-time Oscar winner like a PA.

'Hey guys,' greeted Selena, 'we're on set! What are we shooting? Season three! The gang is back, yay! Could this honestly get any better? Oh wait!'

At that, Selena panned her iPhone over to Marvel star Paul Rudd, who said: 'Well, I do think it could get a little bit better.'

Suddenly, Meryl popped up from behind the couch and asked: 'Steve, do you want a pillow? Marty anything you need?'

Lauded for having one of the best casts on television, Only Murders in the Building follows three true-crime podcast fans – Gomez, Martin and Short – as they team up to solve mysterious murders in Manhattan.

And after nearly three seasons of working alongside two comedy icons, Selena is more 'snarky' than ever before.

Speaking to Vanity Fair over the summer, she said: 'What I've learned is to be more snarky with my jokes. I have a little more bite now.'

'I'm always hoping that I can keep up with them,' she added. 'The goal is to always just try to make a joke, and I do ask if they think something is funny, and if they don't, they are honest with me.'

Hulu has not announced the release date for season three, but it is expected to start streaming later this year.

The central story will reportedly revolve around solving the murder of Rudd's character Ben Glenroy.
