The son of Iowa's head basketball coach is leaving the team.Senior forward Patrick McCaffery, the son of head coach Fran McCaffery, is entering the transfer portal, according to reports.Patrick McCaffery spent five years at Iowa, including a redshirt season in 2019-20. He played 121 games over the last four years and tallied 1,044 career points as a Hawkeye.McCaffery posted a farewell to Iowa fans on Instagram after the Hawkeyes lost to Utah in the NIT."The last 5 years have been the most important of my life.
