    You will find the Texas Eiffel Tower in Paris, TX, just outside of town.

    The town of Paris, Texas is located in northeast Texas just south of the Oklahoma border along US-271, approximately 110 miles from Dallas, Texas.

    The physical address for the Eiffel Tower is 2025 S. Collegiate Dr., Paris, Texas 75460.

    This Eiffel Tower replica is next to a large, easy to access parking lot and is completely free to visit!

    While here, you can also visit the Red River Valley Veteran’s Memorial and the Love Civic Center, both of which are easily accessible from the same parking lot.

    It’s crazy to think that a small Texas town would pay such homage to Paris, the City of Love!

    I guess it makes sense when you realize that Paris, Texas was named after Paris, France, and is the second largest Paris in the world!

    The Texas Eiffel Tower was built in 1993 to honor the city’s name and bring a sense of Parisian style to Texas.

    The Eiffel Tower replica stands 65 feet tall, obviously much smaller than the Paris, France Eiffel Tower which stands 1,083 feet tall.

    When the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas erected their Eiffel Tower replica in 1999, it was decided that the Texas Eiffel Tower needed a little something “extra” to set it apart.

    Thus, the red cowboy hat was added. The cowboy hat added a unique Texas style to the Texas Eiffel Tower in Paris, Texas, to set it apart from it counterparts.

    This fun nod to the Texas’ cowboy culture draws people from all over to visit the small town of Paris, Texas!

    What’s It Like to Visit the Eiffel Tower in Paris, Texas?

    Visiting the Texas Eiffel Tower is such a treat and really should be on everyone’s Texas bucket list.

    Seeing the Texas tower donner in its shiny red cowboy hat put a huge smile on my face when I first arrived.

    We visited on a Saturday afternoon, and I was surprised to find that there was only one other family at the Eiffel Tower (although I’m sure this isn’t always the case).

    I loved that you can get up close and personal with the Eiffel Tower, walking all around it, and underneath it to see the tower and iconic cowboy hat from different angles.

    Given that the Eiffel Tower is free to visit and open to the public, it is truly a quick stop and a great roadside attraction.

    You don’t need a ticket or any special permission to visit, you just show up and enjoy!

    Thanks to the ample free parking onsite as well, the Texas Eiffel Tower truly is a treat to see.

    Since the Paris, Texas Eiffel Tower is open 24 hours a day and free to visit, you can truly stop by any time you are passing through.

    And, the Eiffel Tower is lit up at night, making it even more delightful!

    This replica is definitely not the largest Eiffel Tower replica. There are more than 50 Eiffel Tower replicas in the world, the largest of which is in Tokyo, Japan, standing almost 2,000 feet. That is almost twice the size of the original in Paris, France!

    The tallest replica in the United States is the tower in Las Vegas, which stands 540 feet tall.

    Yes!

    The tower is located next to an open parking lot, so it never closes.

    In addition, it is also lit up at night, giving it a totally different look and feel.

    Is the Texas Eiffel Tower worth visiting?

    I wouldn’t drive way out of my way, or make a special trip to visit this roadside attraction, but if you find yourself in the area, then, yes, it is worth it!

    While in Paris, Texas, be sure to show the rest of the town some love. Here are a few other things to do:

    • Attend an event at the Love Civic Center located next to the tower
    • Head to the town square and check out all of the unique shops. You might just find a new favorite souvenir.
    • Visit downtown Paris and see the beautiful Culbertson Fountain
    • Visit the Sam Bell Maxey House
    • Check out al the nods to Paris throughout town, including a delightful French-inspired bakery and the Audrey Hepburn welcome to Paris sign
