Builder,

I have something in mind that will help Heidi complete her undertaking. But to finish the design, I need to study a Power Core from one of the Old World robots. You can find them in the Paradise Lost Hazardous Ruins. Thus, that is your task. Bring me the largest one you find.

P.S. I'd send the Civil Corps, but they wouldn't know a Power Stone from a stapler.

P.S.S. The robots may try to kill you.

Head for Paradise Lost[]

Go to Paradise Lost Ruins to explore. Please leave enough space in your backpack to pick up the core before you go in. Head for Paradise Lost

The player will need to head to the Paradise Lost entrance located next to the Eufaula Salvage Shop. The player will find Justice and Unsuur standing by the entrance:

Justice Heyyy there, player. Gotta get into these ruins, huh?
Justice Well, shoot... I really want to let you slip on by, but, well, you remember what happened last time we bent the rules a little...

Justice Now, I see where you're comin' from; I can see your frustrations. A door's singular purpose is to provide passage to and from a certain location, and when that door is blocked, the one thing it's meant to do, well, it's ain't really bein' manifested. And I know you, it's in your blood to try to get things fixed and operational and what not, but the thing is if we don't uphold the law around here, people could just start buildin' things all willy-nilly and who knows what kind of chaos that could produce. Sometimes we just have to go against our better judgement and let the rules be rules, and respect 'em as such. Now before you get too bent out of shape, let me assure you that Unsuur and I have made it our utmost priority to begin the process by which to apply for the forms to which we can then use to get permission to authorize your fixing of this here door. After a Builder accepts it and fixes the door, you can get into the ruins. So yer gonna have to hold your horses and...

While Justice is talking, Mi-an fixes the broken door.

Mi-an Hey, guys! I saw the door was broken so... you know me. Ding ding ding! It's fixed! Good as new!
Justice You just disrupted protocol...!
Unsuur What's the plan, sheriff.
Mi-an Huh!? What'd I do wrong?
Justice I... saw nothin'. Woah, how 'bout that, the door fixed itself!

Talk to Qi[]

Qi Well! There it is.
Qi This... looks to be a R47 Condensed Crystalline Power Core Ultra with an ion flux capacitor! I've read about them but... to actually be holding one!
  • It is what you need... right?
  • Ah, yes. R47, of course.
→  It is what you need... right?
Qi No... this is way beyond what I need! I can take things from here. I'll just start by throwing all my previous plans into the trash and... Ha ha... and they all thought I was mad coming here...
→  Ah, yes. R47, of course.
Qi I know! Right? I was only expecting R30s down there, but to get an actual R47 Ultra! It was a prototype core that was a downsized version of the R57 core used in standalone All Source AIs...
Qi ...And you look like you have no idea what I'm talking about... Just know that I'll be throwing all my previous plans into the trash and... Ha ha... and they all thought I was mad coming here...
Qi You can go now, I'll get back to you.
