The place was perfection! Had EVERYTHING I needed! Close to great restaurants too. The balcony at sunset was amazing 😊

Hubby, , teen son, and I drove down to PCB from northern Michigan earlier this month. Our first time staying in the Florida panhandle. Spent total of 5 days and 6 nights here. Rented an amazing beachfront condo through Airbnb - Rm 1301 in the TidewaterBeach Resort. Our first full day in PCB we lazily got up and around and headed down to the beach with our chairs we brought after we ate lunch. It was breezy but only one red warning flag posted so we could go into the gulf and swim, etc. without being fined. The rental chairs on the beach cost $50/hr! So glad we brought our own. We walked each direction on the beach alternating days, one of our highlights. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t on our side after that day. The winds called for double red flags so no swimming in the ocean. The 2 outdoor pools are each on the side of the 39 story resort and the chairs there didn’t come out these days due to wind and storms. There were tornado watches as well. The temps here were in the 70’s the week before ours but in the 60’s and cooler while we were here. It made for cooler temps when the it rained because of the wind but we still did our beach walks. One silver lining was the resorts did not rake their beachfronts so we found a very few little whole shells! Another goal of ours. We thought there would be way more. We had reserved a full day mid week for a pontoon boat to cruise around St. Andrew’s Bay. On our first day in PCB, I noticed the weather was not looking good for outdoor stuff so I called Beachy Boat Rentals who kindly changed our reservation to Friday, our last day there. Hubby Eric has a lot of experience operating various types of boats so we did ok crossing a large part of the bay to get to Shell Island and we collected a few more shells, but they were far and few between even there. We ended up heading back to the marina a few hours early as it was so choppy, we were getting really wet and cold. And we’re tough and used to cold weather/water. It was beautiful! We ate dinner out every evening and really liked a few of the restaurants for their seafood, reasonable prices, and atmosphere: Dusty’s, Sharkey’s, Hook’d, and Margaritaville. There are many places to eat here! There are also a few decent grocery stores nearby. There are several places where you can access the beach if you aren’t staying on it. Pier Park is a nice and safe and clean shopping area across the main beach road, Front Beach, and you can either park to the west of Pier Park in the big lot, or take a shot at pulling into a parallel spot along the road, beachside. We did both. There are several little shops and restaurants in Pier Park, and a large Ferris wheel and other activities. Very touristy. It’s across Front Beach from the long pier which we walked out on to the first evening. Hubby got to check out just how they were fishing, etc. He went fishing there the next day with his wagon (we brought from home) full of supplies but he didn’t bring his fillet knife! So the 3 x 22” Bluefish he caught he gave to others!!! Oh well. He had a nice time, and that’s when my son and I shopped Pier Park. While March is the big Spring Break month, April isn’t so much so it wasn’t packed, not lots of traffic, hardly any noise and partying (yep, I’m getting old! Been there, done that!). Overall, I’d go back again and would hope to have better weather. There are lots of things to do for families with small kids, we noticed.

Has a great day at the pier. Lots of shops and restaurants. Didn't go all the down to the pier, too far for me to walk. Would definitely go again.

Definitely worth the trip - booked online and used a promo code. Keith was great providing instructions. Go on the gulf side and hardly anyone is there! There was a food boat in the water on the kiddie pool side. Bring a chair and umbrella if you can! This is also better than the one from the state park, as it lands at the jetty.

Nice small zoo. Clean, friendly staff. Lemur experience was very well done. 2 to 3 hours for a relaxed visit. Not crowded in the morning, by noon it was busy.

This is a great place to take the kids on a day trip while in PCB. We stop here every year! I love that you can load money on a wrist band and not worry about carrying your wallet.

It’s a must while you’re in the area. Your kids will love it!

It's not huge, but it pays off. especially for younger kids. Their timing of events kept you waiting now and then, but the dolphin show was well worth it. The staff was everywhere, and they care about the animals. Worth the visit.

Definitely worth taking a trip to Conservation Park, there are more trails to hike than most will have time for. We didn't see much wildlife, but the park was beautiful.

It was a fun and unusual museum. Lots of interesting facts and items to browse through. Entertaining for both adults and of course the kiddos.

The Hall of Mirrors was pretty fun...I got so confused for awhile, finally had to hang on to my friends shirt as she made her way through. The dance room was a blast. LOLOLOL old people and our discos!

The 7D movie was just meh. Younger kids would love it though. We did the space aliens which wasn't really anything at all so I'm wondering what the zombies would have been like.

But is it touristy...yes, and it was fun!

Elvis is in the building!!!! Todd is a great performer along with his son, wife and band. The trumpet player is really really good. If you love Elvis you will definitely want to see this show.
