Pamela drug case: BJP leader Rakesh Singh produced in court
Kolkata police arrested another accused in Pamela drug case. The accused, Suraj Kumar has been produced to court on Monday (March 1) along with BJP leader Rakesh Singh who was arrested last week for being involved in the drug case.
Kolkata police arrested another accused in Pamela drug case. Investigators claim that Suraj Kumar Shah helped one of the accused, Amrit Singh, to escape. Police produced him in court after his arrest on Monday (March 1). BJP leader Rakesh Singh has also been produced in court again on the same day.
According to Kolkata police sources, a young man named Amrit Singh had put drugs in Pamela Goswami's car. He put drugs in Pamela's car on the instructions of Rakesh Singh.

While the police were searching Pamela's car, Amrit got out of the car and fled on a scooter. Earlier, Suraj was standing there with a scooter. Amrit left the scene on Suraj’s scooter. Police have already started searching in various states to nab Amrit Singh.
Suraj was produced in court by the police on Monday. BJP leader Rakesh Singh was also produced in court on the same day. When Rakesh was produced in court, his supporters started chanting slogans in the court premises. At that time, Rakesh again complained to the media that a conspiracy was being hatched against him.

Meanwhile, police are conducting a search to find out who delivered the drugs to the BJP leader. Detectives have already interrogated 12 people. Investigators speculate that influential people in society may be involved in the drug case. However, after the arrest of Suraj Kumar, police are hoping that the truth will soon be revealed and they can get a catch of the actual accused.Â
