Sean Breen

Sean Breen has taught Music and Performing Arts at Cathedral since 1984 following 7 years of teaching in Ojai, Manhattan, and Virginia. Sean earned a B.A. in Music Education from Frostburg State Teachers College, a Master's in Music Education (emphasis in Kodály) from Holy Names University in Oakland, California, and a Master's in Cognitive Neurosc... ience from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where he was named the Chester Pierce Fellow as well as the recipient of the Faculty Tribute/Intellectual Contribution award. He is also a past recipient of the Herbst Excellence in Teaching Award. Sean is a well-respected speaker in the field of educational neuroscience, having presented at numerous conferences in the United States, United Kingdom, and Malaysia.
