Overall Overbrook high school
Is an ok place. I would never tell you to send your kids here but it can sometimes feel like a home. There are some teachers that genuinely want nothing but the best for those kids. But the others just want a check. I think the building is beautiful and could be better if they renovated.

My experience at Overbrook High school is a great experience. You have a chance to have meaningful relationships with classmates, teachers and other staff in the building. The environment in the building is a nurturing environment that allows the kids to voice their feelings and opinions to staff and others. When you step outside Overbrook high school it is like a family tree. Many people in the city if Philadelphia and around the country have went to Overbrook high school and the overwhelming support that you receive by just being an alum there is very inspiring. The culture at Overbrook is very inspiring as well, many famous people like Will Smith and Wilt Chamberlain have went there.
