“Over Your Head“ details Future and Lil Uzi Vert’s struggles with girls. Dropping references to expensive diamonds, watches, and cars, the two take turns boasting to girls who choose to leave them that they can switch to a different girl whenever they please.
The track was first revealed a few hours prior to its release in an accidental early promotion via streaming platforms. The track was released simultaneously with “Patek” on Uzi’s 26th birthday, and mark the first two releases from Future & Lil Uzi Vert’s forthcoming collaborative project.
The music video for the track was released on November 17, 2020, the same day as the deluxe version of the album. The video features a reworked instrumental produced by D. Hill (who solely produced the original beat) alongside TM88 and DJ Moon.
