What travelers are saying
- dimpoo1971Mumbai, India290 contributionsIt's the most happening area of Osaka.
Canal street part is Always very very crowded ( luckily coz of rain I found it isolated ).
One have just walk by the Canal Street or one can have a small boat ride.
Both the sides have plenty of food joints, souvenir shops and its also popular for night life.
If lucky ,you might find some street talent or performers.Written April 22, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Beachykeen70Sydney, Australia339 contributionsWe had a great day!
We have previously been to Universal Orlando and found a reasonable option to manage queues to use the Single Rider lanes.
We had read heaps of reviews and our take was that those with express passes had a great day, those without were frustrated with queue lines.
We also didn’t want or need the stress of trying to get passes into Nintendo World.
So, we paid the extra for the Express Pass (7) which basically meant we arrived at 8.30am, went on 9 rides (we went on a couple before the park was full without needing the express passes), had plenty of time for lunch, and to shop, and to even have a beer later, and to leave at 4.30pm after a great day.
When using the express pass, we never had to wait more than 10 minutes for a ride - staff seemed to really look after you.
We went on a Friday, after the first hour in the park, every ride had lines of between 60-120 minutes and the Single Rider lanes still had huge queues (50 minutes plus).
Without the stress of queuing, we enjoyed the park. Nintendo World is amazing - it’s like being in the game.
The express passes are expensive, but if you are prepared to buy them - you will have a much better day.Written April 18, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AptosAmyAptos, CA629 contributionsWe did not go inside. We enjoyed the exterior and the temples, shrines, and do-jos on the castle grounds. We enjoyed walking around the mote and gazing at all the wonders.Written April 20, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AptosAmyAptos, CA629 contributionsWe visited in late winter and the garden was not at it's best. None the less, a few trees were blooming and bird watchers were out. We loved the spaciousness and look forward to returning.Written April 20, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Zfy EdSingapore, Singapore8,654 contributionsThis is a must visit place in downtown Osaka where one can simply spend a day here to see, shop and eat! And the place is always fulled of visitors, adding vibes and vibrancy to the place.
In our recent revisit to Osaka, we also went there and as we were there early (around 10am), it was not that crowded then but in about an hour's time, it's packed with people.
Lots of cafes, restaurants, eateries, departmental stores, among the boutique, pharmacy and convenience stores are in the area and so you need not worry where to shop or eat!Written December 15, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
