Orlando Bloom admitted this week that he is not as well-endowed as a nude photo of him paddleboarding might suggest.
Back in 2016, someone snapped the photo of the “Pirates of the Caribbean” film star with now-fiancée Katy Perry off the Mediterranean island of Sardinia. Perry was in a bikini at the time.
The photo of the pair went viral, although with a black box covering what suggested was Bloom’s large package.
But in a Thursday interview on “The Howard Stern Show,” Bloom tried to set the record straight about his below-the-belt asset.
“It is really not that big,” he said, according to The Sun. “Things are expanded on cameras with a big optical lens. It is an optical illusion.”
Bloom said he had no idea the photo was taken in the first place and only found out about it through his publicist.
“The publicist called to say, ‘That is not the worst of it,’” he said of the photo’s publication. “First of all, there were pictures with a block over it. And you make some jokes like, ‘Have you got a black box big enough to cover it?’
“And then you suddenly realize somebody is going to uncover the black box because they are going to be paid enough,” he added. “It’s a triple-whammy — photos, black box, then no black box.”
In 2017, Perry, 34, told Australian KIIS FM’s Kyle and Jackie O that her beau tried to get her to strip her clothes, too, at the time, but she was “just not in the mood,” according to The Daily Mail.
