- ALSNashvilleNashville, TN33 contributionsI LOVE this place! The Hulk roller coaster has been one of my favorites for years! I’m a roller coaster fanatic. The new Jurassic World VelociCoaster is unbelievable!!! I had a three year old and a baby with me and there were many things for them to do and see as well. They have the cutest Dr. Seuss area for kids. If you are a Harry Potter fan this place is a must see. Unfortunately, Harry Potter and the forbidden journey ride was down during this visit which was super disappointing! This is my favorite of the two Universal parks.Written 29 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- JayTeeScotland, UK10 contributionsGreat fun! I’m a real scaredy cat when it comes to roller coasters and very nearly bottled it on this one. Thank you so much to the amazing team members who went above and beyond to get me on the ride. On a side note, the 60 minute wait ended up being only 35 minutes.Written 22 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Lucy A14 contributionsLovely time as always! Just love to relax and enjoy the sea creatures. Absolutely brilliant we’re waiting for my daughter to turn 10 to do the sea adventure!Written 25 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AmySt Helens, UK90 contributionsI LOVED IT! We arrived early around 7:20am park opened 8am, we pre booked 1 day pass each, which was around $150 per person, we drove so paid for parking which was $30. We headed straight for the safari which was honestly brilliant!! I couldn't believe how many animals we saw! We then headed to Avatar World, the amount of detail put in is unreal, truly magical. We qued for about 80 mins for the simulation ride, OMG brilliant, so so good, I only wished it was longer!! We then went around the park I can't remember the order, Asia was brilliant and the Mount Everest ride was really good, I didn't know what to expect from the whole ride so maybe if I went again I'd get the lightning pass for the rides because the ques were mega long, all in all fabulous dayWritten 20 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - K. M4 contributionsVisited this park three times now during my holiday here and it’s great! And Unlike “volcano bay”…. Here you actually wait the estimated line time given and sometimes you get on even quicker. The Mummy was listed for a 45 min wait time and we only waited about 30 , and Harry Potter escape from Gringotts we waited exactly the 45 mins that was listed. The Hollywood rip rockit and The Simpsons went in about ten minutes earlier than expected also. The only reason I’m not leaving a 5 start review is sadly down to the manners of the staff serving the food at the takeaway points.
A few times they have been very rude , and almost seem angry that you’re going up to order ? The icing on the cake was the women today serving at “Louie’s bar and grill” I waited 10 minutes in line to get my daughter a ice cream , and when it came to order she didn’t say anything and just stared at me with a blank expression.. after telling her I’d like a two scoop tub and paying for it , she proceeded to abruptly make it and then slide it down the counter to me….. again said nothing and then just wandered away into the restaurant!
Not trying to be petty here , but what ever happened to “thank you , have a nice day” … because as the saying goes Manners cost nothing ,, and as iv previously stated , unfortunately this has happened a few times during my visits.Written 26 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. They may not have all the robots and dramatic effects, but they are consistent on a good time for a family.
You can visit for free with an armband the gator venue here at the park. We were so pleased to see Lucas introducing us to muffin, it was a great experience. Had a chance to meet Emma who took care of us in our bill at Johnny Rockets, when we made a mistake. Everything is so pleasant here when you communicate your needs.Written 9 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Plan appropriately for the Guardians of the Galaxy queue, it fills up in about 2 seconds when the check in goes live. And plan on waiting for an hour inside once your group does get called. Wear lots of sunscreen and a hat, and take lots of breaks inside. On these hot May days, it was brutal at times.Written 10 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Ward DSatellite Beach, FL3,276 contributionsDisney Springs is located in the heart of the Walt Disney World complex in Orlando, Florida. It is a dynamic shopping, dining, and entertainment complex that offers a pleasant experience for visitors of all ages. The area is divided into four distinct neighborhoods: The Landing, Marketplace, West Side, and Town Center, each offering unique attractions and atmospheres.
The Landing features a charming waterfront setting with upscale dining options like The BOATHOUSE, known for its seafood and nautical theme, and Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar, which offers adventurous cocktails and a fun, Indiana Jones-inspired setting.
The Marketplace is designed more for families and those seeking Disney-themed merchandise. It houses the world's largest Disney store, World of Disney, where you can find everything from apparel to collectibles. The Marketplace also includes LEGO Imagination Center, an exciting spot for kids and LEGO enthusiasts alike.
West Side is the entertainment hub. It has attractions like the AMC Disney Springs 24 Dine-In Theatres. House of Blues, and Splitsville Luxury Lanes.
The 4th area, Town Center, is a shopper's paradise, featuring stores like Zara, Anthropologie, Kate Spade New York, and, my favorite, Sugarboo & Co.
The dining options at Disney Springs are as diverse as its shopping. There are over 69 distinct eating establishments or options at the springs
There are numerous parking garages and good security for the area.
Overall, Disney Springs combines the magic of Disney with the excitement of shopping, dining, and entertainment, making it a must-visit destination for anyone traveling to the Orlando area.Written 24 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Patrick G2 contributionsThe place where dreams come true. From entering the park to leaving it felt like you were in the magical world of Disney. We entered the park at opening and left at closing clocking up some serious step counts when we were there.
The food is pricey but you expect that. The usual tat was brought from the gift shops.
The family loved it and created those special family moments that will last a lifetime.Written 27 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We were lucky enough to get a family cabana, which was worth doing for a private space, it also came with unlimited soft drinks. It is a shame that Blizzard Beach was closed as we used to love visiting both Disney water parks, I hope that they can have both parks open at the same time soon. There are some really fun attractions here, the water coaster is great fun, as well as some raft rides and body slides. It is a shame that they got rid of the shark pool as I loved this experience! As much as I love this park, I have to say that Volcano Bay has the edge over this one!Written 8 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Stephen TPreston, UK20,068 contributionsI like Blizzard beach. It isn't as popular as Volcano Bay but it being a little less busy is part of the attraction.
