The funny thing in BsAs is that you can get almost anything delivered but not via the internet. Unlike here in Canada they even deliver McDonalds but my favorite is the wonderful icecream in BsAs...also just a phone call away.

If you want to order groceries on-line while in BsAs you can go to http://www.disco.com.ar and then click on DiscoVirtual, all the other grocers also deliver but you have to go to the store.

Jumbo ( a excellent supermarket) has a phone service ( again not sure if theyt speak English, guess they dont) , you register and they will send you a catalog , then you may buy by phone and pay w/CC, good will be delivered promtly.

You won't really find anything like BestBuy in Argentina, let alone on-line.

http://www.coto.com.ar has a website but I don't see where you can order online. However, I use this chain all the time...you shop, pay and they will box it and deliver it later in the day. To my hotel (bought a bit of booze and I like to snack in my room) I like this chain for food and drink ...great deli, prepared food, bakery, wine selection...etc.....but it did not have a lot of the extras like appliances and things like Carrefour and other big chains have. At least not in the two Cotos I was in. They seem to be all over BA and I see their delivery vans all the time too. Not sure if you can phone in an order...something tells me you can. My spanish is not good enough..I would wind up with 50 bottle openers and one bottle of beer if I tried.

Also, not sure exactly what you are looking for but I know friends that use Argentina's version of Ebay here.

It's as close a web site to Future Shop or Best Buy as you'll find in BsAs. They'll also deliver free of charge with any purchase over $89 ARS. However, in my experience, you'll find better prices and selection in Canada or the USA than in Argentina. If your intention is to bring an electrical appliance or accessory back to Canada, goods are 220 V as opposed to the 110 V in North America.
