One Strange Rock: Escape

Videos can be a valuable part of your students’ education. The 2018 National Geographic show titled “One Strange Rock” does an incredible job outlining the various relationships between Earth’s spheres and our existence.

Episode 6, "Escape" covers just a few of the challenges humans will face if we were to ever leave Earth for good. How will our bodies handle space travel? What about the microbiome inside our bodies? This is a great video to bridge Earth Science and Biology!
