The film marks the directorial debut of actress Zoë Kravitz and stars Naomie Ackie, Channing Tatum, Alia Shawkat, Simon Rex, Adria Arjona, Christian Slater, Haley Joel Osment, Kyle MacLachlan and Geena Davis. The details of the soundtrack album for the DC animated movie Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths – Part Two have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Kevin Riepl (Superman: Man of Tomorrow, Cabin Fever, Green Lantern: Beware My Power, The Night Crew,  Justice Society: World War II). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 23 by Gardener Recordings. Check back on this page for the streaming/download link. The label has previously released the composer’s score from Part One last December. Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths – Part Two is directed by Jeff Wamester and stars Jensen Ackles (as Batman/Bruce Wayne), Darren Criss (as Superman & Earth-2 Superman), Meg Donnelly (as Supergirl & Harbinger) and Stana Katic (as Wonder Woman & Superwoman). Animation production based on DC’s comic book limited series of the same title by Marv Wolfman and George Pérez is the second of three parts and marks the beginning of the end to the Tomorrowverse story. The Academy’s Board of Governors has approved rules and campaign regulations for the 97th Academy Awards, including two changes in the Original Score category. The new rules state that “three composers will be allowed to receive individual statuettes if, in rare circumstances, they all contributed fully to the score. Previously, three composers were required to submit as a group. The rules now clarify the definition of a group as a recognized band. The shortlist will increase from 15 to 20 titles”. Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album for the Italian Netflix original series Brigands: The Quest for Gold (Briganti). The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Michele Braga (DogmanRose IslandFreaks Out, Strangeness, ShadowsBlessed Madness). Also included is the song Brigante se more performed by Raiz. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list. Music Box Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 2004 French adventure crime movie Arsène Lupin co-written and directed by Jean-Paul Salomé and starring Romain Duris, Kristin Scott Thomas, Pascal Greggory, Eva Green, Robin Renucci and Patrick Toomey. The 2-CD set features the remastered expanded original score from the film composed, orchestrated and conducted by Debbie Wiseman (WildeWolf Hall, Dickensian, Vampire KillersHaunted, Father Brown, Flood) and performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the Crouch End Festival Chorus, including around an hour of previously unreleased music. The 20th Anniversary soundtrack is limited to 500 copies and now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out audio samples and find out more about the release. Walt Disney Records has released a soundtrack album for Disneynature documentary Tiger. The album features the film’s original music composed by Nitin Sawhney (The Namesake, Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle, Breathe, The Colour Room, What’s Love Got to Do With It?, Lila Says, Traitors, Settlers). Premiering tonight is the HBO original documentary series The Jinx – Part Two directed by Andrew Jarecki. The show’s original music is composed by Mondo Boys (She Dies Tomorrow, Phoenix Forgotten, FatmanThe Girlfriend Experience, Red Right Hand, Silk Road). The follow-up to 2015’s The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst continue the filmmaker’s investigation for the next eight years, uncovering hidden material, Durst’s prison calls, and interviews with witnesses who had not come forward earlier. The 6-parter will air Sundays on HBO and will also be available to stream on Max.

Composer Alex Heffes (The Last King of Scotland, Queen of Katwe, The Rite, Touching the Void, State of Play) is reuniting with director Justin Chadwick on the new British Hulu/Disney+ original series Shardlake. The show is written by Stephen Butchard (The Last Kingdom, Baghdad Central) based on the popular novels by C.J. Sansom, directed by Chadwick (The Other Boleyn Girl, Tulip Fever) and stars Arthur Hughes, Sean Bean, Anthony Boyle, Babou Ceesay, Paul Kaye, Ruby Ashbourne Serkis, Matthew Steer, Peter Firth, Brian Vernel, David Pearse, Irfan Shamji, Miles Barrow, Mike Noble and Kimberley Nixon. The 4-part murder mystery is set in 16th century England during the dissolution of the monasteries and follows the title character whose sheltered life as a lawyer is turned upside down when he gets instructed to investigate the murder of one of his commissioners at a monastery.
