Oakland Unified Basketball State Champions Receive Special Recognition at State Senate and Assembly

On Monday, April 29, hundreds of students from across the state filed through the Capitol building in Sacramento as part of numerous field trips, learning the history, admiring the architecture, and watching the wheels of government turn. But few students enjoyed the honor that was given to the State Champion basketball teams from Oakland High and Oakland Tech which visited the Capitol, as well.
