SOOOOO GOOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111!!!!!!!

Number Jacks is the best thing in the entire universe. Don't listen to the other reviews they were payed by the makers of Yo Gabba Gabba to make fun of Numberjacks. It teaches you everything you will ever need to know and if you hate this show you must be possessed by demons to hate such a godly creation. The intense plot and character development makes this comparable to the Lord of the Rings. There are many epic and original villains that really make the plot even better. This is a very old franchise but still holds up to this day. The music is astounding and is better than most music today. One of the best parts about numberjacks is that its educational. I would recommend not going to college and replacing it with numberjacks because you learn more and save money at the same time.

Loved bykids, less so adults - strange villains too

The good points are my daughter loves it and it does provide rudimentary lessons in maths and allied subjects. It's not the most polished production, but appears to entertain well, although would seem a bit repetitive (just watch the hour long marathons on the programmes official YouTube channel!) Younger viewers may be put off by some of the enemies in the show, the two that are the most unusual are the Number Taker, who dresses like an Albino Mad Hatter, but has the menace (albeit silent) of the Child Catcher from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang; and the Puzzler, who is a CGI floating bald bearded head with glasses who sounds & looks like what you may imagine an internet groomer to look like and has a laugh that is a bang on impression of Sid James from the 'Carry On' films! Honourable mentions to the Problem Blob, who spews 'Kids TV gameshow green goo' everywhere and to see has to regurgitate his eye on a stalk through his mouth; Spooky Spoon, who is a Margo Leadbetter style posh talking, well, spoon..; and the Shape Japer, which is an even more basic CGI cobe/sphere (alternating) with sharp teeth and evil eyes!

This Is The Worst Thing in the history of anything ever!
inigopointon20 August 2016
cheese fest with mind-numbing sound effects and laughably bad CG and acting creepy villains by far the best thing i have ever seen the villains include a pink talking spoon that steals cutlery that is apparently 'spooky,' a blob that shoots slime called the problem blob, a floating head that captures people in orange bubbles made from his own bodily fluids until they can solve a puzzle called the puzzler, a psychopathic man that kidnaps numbers and keeps them in a vacuum cleaner for all eternity named the number taker and last but not least the illiterate shape changing ball called the shape Japer. oh did i mention the buddy blocks, blocks that are the buddies of the numbers... or children... or parasites... or maybe souls... how the hell should i know

Oh boy

Mom come pick me up I'm scared. At least is birthed some memes like Beanos and You Simply Have Less Value. Even as a little kid I think I would've been scared of these numbers... I think they're numbers. Maybe they're Eldritch Horrors that roam with the Outer Gods.

one of the weirdest shows i have ever seen
coltonjames-7819024 July 2021
This show is just plain weird while i wont lie in saying it can be entertaining its not for the reasons the show wants

for kids its proboly fine i mean growing up i did quite like it but for the older people who watch it will either laugh at the stupidity of it or question the thoughts of the creator

im in both camps some of the scenes in the show are halarious of what the poor actors do some of them feel like the direter said "allright now i need you to act like your having a seizure" one episode a man gets chased by a trash can no thats not a joke

overall this show is the definition of meh it does not do anything paterculy awful but nothing that great.

Great for Children!
powerpufffan5 September 2023
Numberjacks is a great program to use to help children learn basic math concepts. Each topic is discussed thoroughly, in simple language and with enough repetition that a small child will easily understand and come away from the episode having learned something.

The animation holds up surprisingly well, though some character design choices can be a bit creepy for those who aren't used to them.

The characters all have unique personalities, and they go through changes as the series progresses. It was very satisfying to me, as a child, watching Three grow up and be able to complete missions on her own.

Parents will also enjoy the witty writing and good humour. I recommend this show speficially to parents with children aged three to seven.

A little strange but it's alright.

Numberjacks is one of those shows that you watch and think to yourself, "Hmmm, do I like it legitimately or ironically?" On the plus side, it's full of educational content about maths for the kids and it's a little creative by having it be a mix of both CG and live action. The characters are forgettable at best, but the villains (or "meanies" as they are in the show) are definitely the best and worst parts of the show. There were 5 villains, all who had different motives. The was the Problem Blob, a large green... well, blob that spits slime on things to make them grow or just mess them up essentially. The Shape Japer is a purple sphere with 8-bit eyes and mouth that can change shape at will. She replaces things with herself if I remember correctly. There's the Puzzler, who is a (animated and cartoon-y) floating head with bubbles as hair and a beard. What he does is trap the Numberjacks in orange bubbles from his mouth and wouldn't let them out until the Numberjacks solved a puzzle. The Number Taker is a man dressed all in white with a vacuum instead of a left arm and what he does is suck up all the numbers he can find. And, probably the most terrifying villain in my opinion, Spooky Spoon. She is a flying pink spoon that steals cutlery. That's it, but her overall design along with the bad CG animation makes it all the more creepier. Overall, the show is an educational mess of uncanny animation and villains. But, it's not that bad. Maybe protect your kids until they're old enough to know that the villains aren't real, so that they don't get too scared.

BRAIN GAMEEEEE
ultumiteguy18 November 2020
Ok, this an oddball. the animation is actually terrifying, seriously you wouldn't want to run into 1 while going shopping. I was actually suppressed how many people know this thing exists, as I would this show would be lost to time, as I actually watched this as a kid. I was scared of a villain called the number taker, but that wasn't the weirdest bit. there is this machine called the brain game who does this stupid dance and it's so Wong on so many levels but I love it. overall, a weird show with weird villains, but remember, always remember: BRAIN GAMEEEEEEE

My Numberjacks review
mohanlehto6 May 2023
I loved watching it when I was little. It helped me with numbers and early maths skills, but the meanies can be scary, even the Numbertaker. The villain I mostly liked was Spooky Spoon because she was quite funny, even when she mixes things up. My family didn't know that Numberjack One became a meme where she is referred to as "Beanos". I really liked the bit in the episode one more time when one was making things one more, and then six scolds her for what she did after being bought home and she said sorry. I also remember the episode where Zero was out and about making things disappear, and then six chases him around until he makes himself disappear.
