Jose R Great movie not as good as the first but good to watch dolby atmos 4k Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/24/24 Full Review Shaun E Not as good as the original, it was still entertaining enough to be worth a watch. I am happy to suspend belief for a film and go with the flow just to be entertained, but much of this film stretched even the biggest bounds of credibility. I think that the moral here is less is more and 'don't try too hard'. A word about casting. Initially, Daniel Radcliffe seemed much miscast in this film, but as the film went on, I actually think that this was an excellent piece of casting. Lizzy Caplan did an excellent job as the token female Horseman, but the absence of Isla Fisher's character is notable. The stunts and special effects are as good as ever and screenplay is mostly good. I say mostly because there is a lot going on and keeping up with it is not easy, and sometimes veers into the messy and over explained. The ending of the film could have been cut in half with no real loss of impact. An enjoyable watch, but a tad too long and a wee stretch too far of the imagination. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/15/24 Full Review alan g G-d that was awful. What a waste of alleged talent. Any movie with Morgan Freeman since driving Miss Daisy stinks. The rest of the cast sleepwalk through the "movie". Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/09/24 Full Review Ravi T Eh it was ok. Honestly my favorite parts were the magic tricks. Everything else kinda dragged. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/21/24 Full Review Chris S It was a good movie, needed more luscious and Alfred it it. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/24 Full Review Jeff P Even better than the first. Loved it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/24/24 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Tara Brady Irish Times It's impossible to dislike NYSM2, a big blousy movie that is giddily in love with its own preposterousness. Rated: 3/5 Aug 9, 2016 Full Review Roxana Hadadi Chesapeake Family Magazine Now You See Me 2 is marginally better than its underwhelming 2013 predecessor thanks to new cast additions, but still over-explains and under-delivers. Rated: 2.5/5 Aug 1, 2016 Full Review Wendy Ide Observer (UK) A needlessly complicated series of bluffs and double-bluffs, which is then unpicked during huge chunks of shouty, self-congratulatory exposition. Rated: 2/5 Jul 10, 2016 Full Review Keith Garlington Keith & the Movies The smoke-and-mirrors story flies all over the place and never firmly lands anywhere. Rated: 2/5 Aug 24, 2022 Full Review Brian Eggert Deep Focus Review Nothing more than a glitzy, empty bauble. Rated: 2/4 Apr 11, 2022 Full Review Nikki Baughan AWFJ.org Kaplan is a jewel in the crown, putting in a terrific performance and more than holding her own in this light hearted, undemanding caper.
