About the Northern Valley Regional High School District

Northern Valley Regional High School District is a seven town district in Northeastern Bergen County, New Jersey. Twenty miles from New York City, it is within minutes of downtown Manhattan.

With grades 9 -12, our schools offer special programs for gifted and talented, English as a Second Language, Special Education, Alternative School and an extensive Advanced Placement Program. Seventy-five percent (75%) of our teachers hold Master's degrees. Our quality students and superior facilities and salaries make working at Northern Valley a rewarding experience.

Exciting projects over the past 5 years have made Northern Valley one of the premier schools in the nation when it comes to technology integration and access. The communities recently supported a bond issue allowing for the construction of new media centers and a Wide Area Network. Continued support by our Board of Education has allowed us to continue to maintain this high standard.

District wide technology and networking provides electronic library and bulletin board services and new computer labs. Students, staff, and community are linked electronically throughout the valley.
