Q&A
This is one of my favorites. I could watch it a million times.
This is one of my favorite movies.
Mine too.
The scene at the Chicago art auction, right? Okay, but h'mmm...why is Cary grasping her by the breasts? I don't recall that part. Is he frisking her for Pre-Columbian objet d'art?
Oh well. Anyway those were certainly two of the handsomest actors of their generation.
I've heard faint murmurings of a 4k release upcoming- hope there's truth to it
I have too
She is gorgeous, and by the way she turns 100 in less than 3 monts.
Reportedly, screenwriter Ernest Lehman approached Alfred Hitchcock with the idea of creating "the ultimate Hitchcock movie," and the two of them went off from there. Every scene in this movie is a perfect Hitchcokian trope: the perfectly innocent man caught up in plans and schemes beyond his comprehension trying to prove his innocence, the cold, yet seductive blonde, incredible danger, etc. etc. James Mason is perfect as the evil spy mastermind, and so is Martin Landau as his "number one guy." Never miss an opportunity to see this picture.
Truely one of my fav films of all time
Perfect film! Eva Marie Saint was just a stunning beauty!
