The mission of the North Brunswick Township High School (NBTHS) is to provide a nurturing environment that fosters personal and academic growth, creating life-long learners who are globally aware citizens.

For two consecutive school years, NBTHS has been recognized as one of the nation's "Best High Schools" by U.S. News and World Report magazine. NBTHS is nationally ranked in the top 40% of all high schools in the country! Our school received recognition by the College Board as a recipient of the AP Computer Science Female Diversity Award for 2020.

Our school is a National Project Lead the Way school. NBTHS offers over 20 Advanced Placement courses in a variety of content areas and an open enrollment policy. NBTHS received AVID certification as a school-wide emerging school in 2020-2021. We also offer approximately 30 clubs and 15 interscholastic athletic activities!

2021-22 NBTHS Academic Academies

In 2021-2022, NBTHS will offer three academic academies in STEM, Business, and Humanities. Our goal is for each student enrolled in an academy to be able to get hands-on learning experiences to prepare them to be college and career ready. NBTHS students can also earn the AP Capstone Diploma through successful completion of the AP Seminar and Research courses.

As a former student at the North Brunswick Township high school, I am overly pleased with my experience at my high school. The teachers were great and loved their jobs they encouraged their students to continue to prosper in their future careers and they tried their best to help each student at becoming successful in their academic career at the North Brunswick high school. Not only were the teachers great but the diversity in our school made my experience more valuable. Getting to learn about the different backgrounds from classmates with different cultures truly helped me value the importance of meeting new people.

While North Brunswick Township High School provides a solid foundation, it's important to note that, like any institution, it may have areas that could be improved. For instance, some students may feel that certain academic programs or facilities could be expanded to better meet the demands of a growing student population.

I love going to NBTHS. As a violinist, I really appreciate the robust music program. We have multiple concerts each year with a variety of music from different cultures. I also like that I can take AP classes to prepare for college. However, a few administrators are bad at creating policies and don't take students' opinions seriously, which is very frustrating.
