How does this change in data impact homes built in AE flood zones at required elevations, but based on the 1929 data...which now would appear to be flawed?
The NorthAmericanVerticalDatum of 1988 is a vertical control datum for surveying and not a measure of elevation relative to local mean sea level. Flood zone designations should be unaffected by the choice of verticaldatum. --Buaidh (talk) 13:38, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
