The Control and Disciplinary Committee of the Russian Football Union (KDK RFU) did not cancel the yellow card of Spartak defender Alexis Duarte in the postponed CSKA match in the 21st round of the Russian Premier League (RPL). In this respect “Match TV” said committee chairman Arthur Grigoryants.
“Spartak” contacted the CDC with a request to correct Duarte’s erroneous card. After receiving the letter, the FTC sent the documents to the Expert Judicial Commission for comment. The ESC concluded that Kazartsev had given an accurate warning to Duarte. The FTC has no reason to fix the error. Grigoryants said that Duarte will miss the match against Lokomotiv.
The main referee of the match, Vasily Kazartsev, probably confused the Spartak players in the first half. Instead of penalizing another defender, Nikita Chernov, for fouling Anton Zabolotny in the middle of the field, the referee showed that defender Duarte had received a yellow card for a late penalty.
The match between the rivals ended in a goalless draw. Spartak will host Lokomotiv in the RPL 26th round match on April 28.
A coach who has previously left the RPL club statedHe said there were toxic players in the team.
