About the authors
Douglas Ford's short fiction has appeared in a variety of anthologies, magazines, and podcasts, as well as two collections, Ape in the Ring and Other Tales of the Macabre and Uncanny and The Infection Party and Other Stories of Dis-Ease. His longer works include The Beasts of Vissaria County, Little Lugosi (A Love Story), and The Trick, his newest from Madness Heart Press. He lives on the west coast of Florida.
Elin Olausson is a fan of the weird and the unsettling. She is the author of the short story collections "Growth" and "Shadow Paths" and has had stories featured in The Ghastling, Luna Station Quarterly, Nightscript, and many other publications.
Elin’s rural childhood made her love and fear the woods, and she firmly believes that a cat is your best companion in life. She lives in Sweden.

"Smith is a real find, an elegant stylist with an imagination that’s unsettling, paranoid, gruesomely funny at times, and startlingly original." -- T.E.D. Klein
Clint Smith is the author of the collection GHOULJAW AND OTHER STORIES (Hippocampus Press, 2014), and the novella, WHEN IT'S TIME FOR DEAD THINGS TO DIE (Unnerving, 2019). His sophomore collection, THE SKELETON MELODIES, is now available from Hippocampus Press.
A former freelance writer, Clint's non-fiction stories and columns have previously appeared in FARM Indiana Magazine, SOUTH Magazine, the Southside Times, and the Indianapolis Star.
In 2018's 21st-Century Horror: Weird Fiction at the Turn of the Millenium, literary scholar and critic, S.T. Joshi, includes an essay segment titled, "Clint Smith: Decaying Cities, Decaying Lives." "Smith is gifted with a mellifluous, eloquent prose that avoids the contrasting pitfalls of self-conscious literariness and excessively austere starkness," writes Joshi, "portraying his grim scenarios with intensity and cumulative power."
Clint lives in Indiana, along with his wife and children, just outside Deacon’s Creek. Read more at clintsmithfiction.com.
C.M. Muller lives in St. Paul, Minnesota with his wife and two sons—and, of course, all those quaint and curious volumes of forgotten lore. He is related to the Norwegian writer Jonas Lie and draws much inspiration from that scrivener of old. His tales have appeared in Shadows & Tall Trees, Dim Shores, Vastarien, and a host of other venues. In addition to writing, he also edits and publishes the journal Nightscript. He is the author of two story collections, Hidden Folk (2018) and Secondary Roads (2022). More information can be found at: www.chthonicmatter.wordpress.com
