Pageant fans, rejoice! Just last night, July 31, we officially crowned our newest Bb. Pilipinas-International: Nicole Yance Borromeo from Cebu City. After her impressive performances throughout the competition, the Gen Z beauty queen is now gearing up to take up the mantle from Hannah Arnold. With the crown freshly perched on her head, we've gathered 10 fast facts you must know about her.

1. She's a Sagitarrius
A native of the Queen City of the South, Nicole was born on December 9, 2000.
2. She's an Interior Design student
Alongside competing in pageants and modelling, Nicole is working towards an Interior Design degree from The University of San Carlos' School of Architecture, Fine Arts, and Design. She occasionally shows us her artistic side through sketches she shares online.
3. She won a noontime show pageant
ICDYK, Binibining Pilipinas 2022 wasn't Nicole's first time at the rodeo. In 2019, sheย brought home the crown of Miss Millenial Philippines, a beauty pageant held by GMA noontime show Eat Bulaga. Other titles she's won are as Sinulog Festival Queen 2019 and Reyna ng Aliwan 2019.
4. She's handled by the same agency as Bea Gomez and Tracy Maureen Perez
Origin Management is a homegrown model and artist agency in Cebu, and it looks like it's also a home to many of our crowned queens. Nicole finds herself following the footsteps of Miss Universe-Philippines 2021 Bea Gomez and Miss World-Philippines 2021 Tracy Maureen Perez as ladies to have also come from the agency.
5. She's a certified island girl
A look at her IG grid shows that the 22-year-old loves rocking a swimsuit and taking a dip in the sea, but beyond that, she also has a heart for taking care of it. She previously stated that one of her life idols is Anna Oposa, the executive director of the Save Philippine Seas NGO.
6. Her national costume was inspired by the Sinulog
Putting her heritage at the forefront, Nicole donned a stunning festival-ready ensemble for this year's national costume competition. Designed by Cebuana designer Axel Que, she rocked a color-packed costume consisting of an embellished mini dress, oversized sleeves with streamers, and a matching marching band hat. Nicole stated the the show-stopping lookย is "a nod to the nostalgic celebration of life and a reminder to live fully, live passionately and never lose our sense of wonder."
7. She's a relief operations volunteer
Nicole makes it a point that, beyond all the glitz and glam, she gets to give a helping hand to people who may need it. Her most recent experience being a relief operations volunteer was after a mega typhoon devastated her home town last December, which she also made mention of on coronation night. You go, girl!
8. She was also awarded as Miss Careline
Aside from snatching the Binibining Pilipinas-International crown, Nicole was also honored as Miss Careline by the beauty brand, which was one of the pageant's sponsors.
9. She gives herself an 8 out of 10 when it comes to being a responsible Filipino citizen
During theย final Q&A round of the competition, guest judge Donny Pangilinan asked Nicole to rate herself as a "responsible Filipino citizen" on a scale of 1 to 10. She replied that she would give herself an 8, explaining that, "I know theres always room to improve. There's so much I don't know, but there's so much I'm willing to learn. And I hope to do that with you."
