I don't think I'd pay more than 10m for him, and even then, only if he were in a position we absolutely had to fill.

They'll get some shmucks to pay more for him though.

He seems a bit Crystal Palace to me.

I think it may suit him more to be a key man somewhere that all the play goes through, a la Joe when he was with us, rather than the more structured demands we would place on him.

Strikes me as the sort of player who will be anonymous for months then pop up with one of the most important goals in a clubs history.

Strikes me as the sort of player who will continue to get 5 minutes towards the end of matches to run the clock down, before going back to Turkey to never be thought about again.

That 30m figure may become very negotiable if Gala want him gone and there are no other takers .

They don't want him gone, they want to make a big profit on him. And if we're not going to do that (and nobody else is either), then they'll want him back to smack 25 goals in in Turkey and try again the year after.

he might get a contract at one of the clubs that come up from the champ in the summer, if he can get a couple of goals before the end. He should set himself a target of 3.

Rather like Sanson not wanting to be part of the Prem after his poor treatment at the claws of Ste VG I can't see Zaniolo trying to stay in the league after his, frankly, terrible time this year.  You'd have to be a mentalist (or Burnley) to chuck the kind of money Gala want down the drain on the evidence of his performances in the real Claret and Blue.

I genuinely dont like criticising our own players.

But hes truly awful. Thank God we didnt buy him.

EDIT. oh and technically , hes not ours in any case
