AS Roma chief Tiago Pinto was reluctant to discuss Nicolo Zaniolo before last night's Coppa Italia defeat to Cremonese.

Zaniolo hasreleased an open letter insisting he was ready to “hold out my hand, putting myself at the complete disposal of the Roma family."

However, Pinto responded, stating: “I don't want to talk about Nicolò this evening, this is not the moment, we have a Coppa Italia quarter-final that is very important for us and we want to focus entirely on that.

“I understand that you have curiosity, but the right time will come when I will talk about this. The club wants to take a couple of days to fully evaluate the situation.

"It will probably be next week."
