Nick Cannon has one word (well, acronym) for why he’s had four kids with three different women in less than a year: “YOLO.”
The “Masked Singer” host, 40, claimed on his Power 106 radio show on Wednesday, “I’m having these kids on purpose. I didn’t have no accident.”
Cannon welcomed a baby with “Wild ‘N Out” model Alyssa Scott in June — just weeks after he had twins with another woman named Abby De La Rosa.
And last December, Cannon and model Brittany Bell welcomed daughter Powerful Queen. The pair are also the parents of 4-year-old son Golden.
Cannon’s first venture into parenthood was with ex-wife Mariah Carey, with whom he shares 10-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe.
City Girls rapper JT playfully teased Cannon on Wednesday when he asked the hip-hop duo for advice on his radio show, hinting that he should use a condom when he has sex.
“Wrap it up,” JT, 28, told the media executive, who then joked back, “Wrap it up, like, hurry up and wrap it up?”
JT reiterated, “Wrap it up as in wrap it up and protect yourself.”
Cannon then said in his defense that there were “a lot of people that I could’ve gotten pregnant that I didn’t,” implying again that he intended to have all his kids.
“I say YOLO,” Yung Miami, the other half of City Girls, then added. The acronym stands for “You Only Live Once.”
Cannon agreed, “There it is, you only live once.”
The “Wild ‘N Out” host has been mocked all over social media in recent weeks for his influx of offspring.
One person tweeted, “Nick cannon got more kids than recognizable songs.”
Another added, “Clearly the covid-19 virus and nick cannon are competing to see who can create the most number of variants of themselves.”
