You can see right along the coastline for miles. Wear good footwear for safety as there are a lot of steps. Many people on the beach even though it was too cold and rough to swim. There were malicious comments about Apollo's unmasked sex.
I also noticed the Seven statues of 7 kneeling man on high poles, which are meant to represent the 7 continents. His vivid paintings come to life in the museum, which should be a top site to visit if you are in Nice. We took a taxi there from our hotel as it is somewhat off the beaten track. We waited and waited at the taxi stand after our visit, but no one showed up, so we finally called an Uber, which came right away.
