Newtown High School Reviews
Rating 3.71 out of 5 136 reviews
This school has a bad reputation, but it's not awful. Newtown High School is a teaching experience for life in the USA/as a minority, considering that much of the student body consists of immigrants or children of immigrants. AP teachers tend to be quite helpful, along with college counselors. It's very diverse. However, the building is ancient and would benefit from renovation. Very little is done about bullying or harassment. Not many AP classes/college prep classes are available either. Fights occur regularly. Guidance counselors can be apathetic as well, which is unfortunate.
Overall, the school has downsides- but has potential and some perks.

Awful school. The school literally push you away from applying to private colleges, hostile students, and staff that let students get away with whatever they want.
very nice staff and teachers who you can trust, has good activities, clubs and sports. food needs more improvements.
