New World School of the Arts Reviews
Rating 4.28 out of 5 329 reviews
New world provides a great experience for students looking to active their maximum potential in their arts. As a Visual artist studying here I truly believe I would not have reached my level of commitment and skills that I currently present. Their teachers are also amazing and they really care about your craft at a level that it becomes an inspiration.
My overall experience while attending New World School of the Arts has been nothing but educational and insightful. Being in a small school with people that come from all walks of life is a very special experience. The past schools I have attended were full of people who were of the same type of demographic group. But here, the diversity is the probably the best aspect of the school. You are able to make different experiences. Learning about other cultures and backgrounds, and getting a sense on how to let go and be yourself is the best experience I’ve made at New World School of the Arts. When I first attended as a freshman, having to transition into such a hardcore curriculum can be a bit of a struggle, but overtime you truly realize that this place is the best place to be in order to get ready for the real world. As this is a school focused on purely the arts, in the future, I would like to see the school focus more on academics the same way they focus on the arts.
My experiences at New World School of the Arts is varied. One thing persistent however is the stress and sleep deprivation that come out of being a student. There are many classes to attend to and high expectations put on us. All of the students have many things on their plate. Due to the school's location it takes some students a while to get to school and It becomes imperative to wake up at the crack of dawn and get home in the late afternoon at five PM.
